By accessing or using ByeSub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ByeSub is a subscription management tool that helps users identify recurring charges by connecting bank accounts (via Plaid) and email accounts (via Gmail API). The Service displays detected subscriptions and provides information to help users manage or cancel them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ByeSub, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Third-Party Services

ByeSub integrates with third-party services including Plaid and Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

6. Limitations

ByeSub provides subscription detection on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee:

• Detection of all active subscriptions
• Accuracy of displayed amounts, dates, or merchant information
• Successful cancellation of any subscription

ByeSub provides information and links to help you cancel subscriptions, but the actual cancellation process is between you and the subscription provider.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByeSub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
